figured out how to kite last night
I call it “circling” – keeping the enemy stationary as much a possible in the middle of your turning/strafing circle. Doesn’t really work too much on Risen in melee distance, but then adjust the circle to be larger depending on aggro situations. Slower enemies are easier this way.
Sometimes the faster AI follows my circle path, but then i just turn faster (adjust camera rotation speed) and put them back in the middle. if they are melee heavy, i will use a Ele Staff, and Staff#4 (the fire line when you back dodge) then pop as much burning as possible, and repeat if they get too close. and then use “circling” in combination to keep them moving.
the more they move, the less they hit, i noticed. can probably do the same stuff with an Earth/Dagger combo (because you get the spike thingy) for the constant bleed condition on them (if they bleed).

LOL…Risen mobs run faster than Speedy Gonzales. One big reason I hated the high level areas. :P
