but casting still too long :p its faster to res individual manually or rally.
but if casting time reduced a bit, i will sacrify a utility slot for it
i love glyph of storm by the way esp cast it on earth attunement on meelee guys or fire on others.
looking forward to try fastground target staff and conjure weapon. but i always like other weapons more than staff; altho i do find staff a better support in some ways.
i really don’t understand this glyph. I might have to google it because when i use it, nothing happens. Can i not use it on a player that is dead? I’ve also ran up to someone on the ground who wasn’t dead yet but downed and ( i was set to fire so that i can come back if i fall) used the glyph of renewal…..nothing happened so i bent down and resurrected them.
I’m not sure what is going on, but that is how the last 3 times have gone for me. I know it has worked a few times but i have to be doing something wrong. At first i thought i was just out of range, but the last 3 times i made sure i ran next to them.
Also the spawn time is way to long for this to be helpful.

The glyph works as intended but the range isn’t constant so it feels clunky as hell, you can only rez downed people not dead.

at the moment glyph is affected by range depending on the attunments you are on.
eg, earth attunment, you are allow to res up to 3 “down” (not dead) people at range of 600. with air attunment you can res 1 ally up and teleport him to you at the same time and the range is 1200. different works for fire and water. and it has been reported that this skill is a bit buggy.

after the patch, this skill will allow you to ground target instead. Still, I am not sure how useful this skill is for majority of a situations because of the long casting time.
yea i can’t see the point of this unless all 3 of the Downed people are sitting next to each other. I guess with fire it allows me to rez someone and then next time i fall i am rezed right away.
I just find it so much faster to rez the person manually instead of this.
I’ve used it successfully before, with those mass-deaths in teq and in dungeons, cd is high yeah but people shouldn’t be dying that quick in a dungeon. I only use earth if more than 1 is down or air if the person is still being attacked.
The most annoying thing of this is the casting time, but i guess it’s there to cancel the skill in case the person dies.
If you are not able to get it, i will tell you.
This is really really big nerf to this skill. How can aoe benefit this skill?
Seems like a buff to me. One of the few useful ones we got today. Range makes this a lot better, since you don’t have to do the ridiculously long cast in harms way and risk dying or being interrupted. You can rez people inconspicuously from ledges etc in pvp. And the aoe circle makes it a lot easier to see how many people you can actually successfully rez. Before it was kind of a crapshoot running in the middle of your dead teammates and hoping they all get rezzed.
The only problem now is downed thieves and eles accidentally running away from your aoe is a bit more of a concern.
They should have sticked to the old system,reducing the casttime and cooldown+give it group-priority…but it would still be a waste of a utility slot…our ridiculous low defence make anything but lightning flash,mist form+either armor of earth or arcane wave a waste of a utility slot.
