does it matter if the staffs are the same? and what staff is the best for crafting this? what are the chances of getting the legend?

Don’t hold your breath. It’s only slightly less hard to obtain.

If you do get it from the Forge, don’t bother getting a lottery ticket for the next decade or so, ‘cause you’ll have used up your luck for the upcoming time.

If you are going to invest in getting the Legendary staff Bifrost, use the mystic forge. As ThiBash said, its a very rare chance to craft it.

I think level 74+ rare and exotic staves are the materials and you need 4 staves per craft chance.

If you want it because you think its better than other staves stat wise, I wouldn’t recommend going for it. Arah and Citadel of flame dungeon vendor gear is equivalent stat wise.

how do you get The Legend

Option 1 (hardest): You stick 4 rare/exotic staves into Mystic Forge and pray that they’ll combine into it.

Option 2 (easier): Participate in a one time event, pray that you don’t have a night shift, disconnect to no fault of yours, a new build doesn’t come or that you aren’t dead until the chest disappears, then pray that it drops from the chest (it probably won’t and your guildmate will get it instead, selling it for a pile of gold).

Option 3 (easiest): grind the gold and buy it from the TP.

Option 4 (loser mode): buy the gold for real money through the gem store and buy it from the TP.

That’s all there is to it.

Well, ArenaNet did mention they would add some different ways to get it. My suggestion would be to wait for that.

There is also option 5 (smartest) – buy low, sell high. For someone who made billions of ISK in Eve Online just by market trading, getting gold is a cakewalk in this game. Once you get past the initial asset hurdle, you can just literally park yourself at the auction house and watch the coins roll in.

Grinding gold… the only gold you need to grind is the first gold piece, then trade your way to fame and fortune.

Ok, a little pointer. Diversify. Do that and you’re golden. Literally!

Yes but I find that you only make a few silver by doing that. How can I make money if I have a decent amount of gold to invest with? I’ve tried mats but they’re so unpredictable but they’re the only way to make a big profit in little time.
