I surely miss something, but meteor shower has only 3 targets now instead of five ?

The individual meteor strikes hit the 3 nearest targets. Given the range of the Meteor shower it is very likely you’ll end up hitting more than 3 targets overall as each meteor strike could hit a different set of 3 targets.

if the 3 targets concern each individual meteor, it’s ok then.
I was fearing it was another nail in our coffin.

What do you mean instead of 5? Not all aoes hit 5 targets, not all cleaving cleaves for 3 targets, and not all melee weapons hit 3 targets.

As for meteor shower ,it was already mentioned.
You bring down 24 meteors and each individual meteor will hit up to 3 targets when it falls down.

Well, speaking of target cleaving for Staff, at least SPvP wise, it’s odd how Water Bolt hits 5 targets when Fireball hits only 3 targets.

Fireball used to be the AoE auto attack by design.
Water is healing.
Air is possibility of max dmg.
Earth is giving a defensive condition.

Water hitting 5 targets doesn’t make it any less for healing.
