Guild Wars 2

I have a dumb question about the fiery great sword elite, specifically Fiery Rush. Even though i’ve used it countless times, i’ve always wanted to know if it deals condition damage and its just a hidden tooltip? or is its damage just direct damage?

Similar to burning speed, the flame trail deals direct damage to foes in its AoE. Off the top of my head I can’t remember whether it does burning damage as well. An easy way to tell is: if it can crit, it’s direct damage.
