Hello, I mained ele all my GW2-PvP life but dumped the game due to frustration about the state of balance 2 months ago.
Did anything change?
Are elementalists in any (skillbased) way a viable choice for high end tPvP?

No. Nothing has changed in the past 6 months.
No, not much has changed. If you were frustrated then, you’ll be frustrated now. You CAN be competitive as an ele, but you have to be REALLY good, to be considered an OK player
Wait for the patch coming march 18. There are several confirmed buffs comin our way

But if they’re paying any attention, they’ll leave the point during the shower, and only come back if you actually get close enough to contest – by which time you are probably already dead.
