so im thinking how viable is this tempest thing for staff builds
atlist trait wise

skills ecpet maby elite skil arent that appeling to me

It won’t be viable with staff.

It should work but your overlodes are going to be more of an you cant be soft cc for a time. Think of tempest line replacing a def line for staff ele such as earth or arcain.

PvE is meh cause there are no damage mods in tempest traits

For PvP though if you enjoy the staff niche it will probably work. The shouts may be better for support over cantrips and at the very least earth overload would be good for escapes/trouble in staff if focused. Though you’d probably never want to try casting the other overloads.
