vapor form fail mechanics
they probably just saw you go into vapor form and then started healing themselves with 4
and if it was a guardian they could’ve dropped their 3 which is also a heal
It was a ranger.
Ranger pets heal for a pretty ridiculous amount. I’ve seen them outheal two people attacking the downed ranger.

it must have been lick wounds? it’s buggy and only works sometimes. On land it can not out-heal even the lowest dps classes, it’s much weaker than revive rate of another plater, but underwater for some reason it can outheal multiple people if they have low dps.
could have been regen from a fern hound too i think? but weird that you percieved it to be a sudden “jump” in health.
It wasn’t underwater and he had a bear out.
It’s as if the game told the player he was out of combat when I vapor formed, allowing him to heal 50% until vapor form wore off. At least, that’s how it looked on my screen while I was staring right at him spamming 1 waiting for vapor form to end. It was ridiculous.

It was his pet. the pet can heal for a large amount so you can easily miss it. The reason Rangers can take a beating underwater is because everyone heals at a super fast rate on the surface, and when you factor in the pet healing at the same time it’s often too much for non-bursty classes to handle.
