lol yes the title is wierd but really wtf is wrong with me in pve i can do fine switching from attunement to attunement in the heat of battle but when i enter pvp. its like i choke lmao. i dunno why this hasnt happened with me with ranger or thief for sum reason idk wats wrong maybe im not cut out for spvp. maybe itll be just wvw for me now x.x

srry for the double post but maybe i need build help aswell i wanna be able to survive aswell as do damage to my enemy i run a 30/10/10/10/10 and if anyone can give me sum choices in which runes to equip to my gears maybe that will help idk x.x lol oh and i forgot i run with D/D and staff

You need practice, you are basically panicking because you know in PvP a simple mistake can kill you.

You got shakes and the elementalist requires concentration to play right. Try EvE Online PvP sometimes, there the penalties are real tough (you basically lose your ship, everything in it, your implants if you had them etc. and sometimes that stuff is real expensive) and the shakes… wooh! At least until you get used to it, of course, then you can begin being kitten again. Until then, you will fumble.

So the cure is to get out there and get yourself slaughtered many, many times until you don’t care anymore.

This is what i use in WvW and in tPvP when i like to plan tanky D/D Spec.

This is good advice. If you can get to the point where you don’t mind dying you’ll be able to relax more and focus better. Just keep at it.

2 things 1 don’t panic. 2 maybe you need a bit more def. stats.

When ppl pvp the biggest mistake is to mash keys too fast. Everything takes splir sec to fire. If you start just mash keys without watching for spells to go off you’ll end up miss casting 1/2 the spells. The more you play the better you’ll get at timing. At first if you load up on defensive stats it will make it easier to calm yourself down .

Ele is hard to play but very good for spvp once you get the skill up there.

yes i kno im bad at spelling oh well i just wanna get w.e im typing with over with xD no need to put a man down when he is asking for help ^^ lol and ok hopefully i can find sum good trait builds more towards defensive D/D spec

practice is the best advice i can give you, i tried out an mesmer, i just couldn’t use him properly, i was physically incapable of using the mesmer correctly, it was just too different play style than my ele, since my main is an ele. so like for most things in life you just have to keep trying and practice practice practice
