Hi.
I am going to get level 80…
Regarding LH, staff or d/f meta builds which one is more forgiving ?
Also is 30/30/0/0/10 (i want vigor at least while learning tge class) good enough to run LH or staff? Sounds like a versatil trait distributio to me.

Ty!

Why take 10% more dmg in air when you will be in water attunement most of the time?Better take +10% crit dmg when using an arcane skill since you have 2 in your utility skills(they won’t stack)

1 for wen L H is on cd
2 for when water attune is on cd
3 for decent damage wwhen not using LH.
You cant rely soly on LH thats jst dumb. Havjng dmg all round is good. Esp since lightning can burst hard.

And ive tried 10% and its not worth. Instead of hitting 5k it only raised it to 6k while if u switch out of LH and use electiric burst it does about 10k in the first 2 secs and about 3k for every next 2 secs. Also 10%crit dmg obviously only works wen u crit and u are not guarenteed to crit with 49% chance so it will be a 1-2k crit increase ONLy when toy crit when techincally is 50% of the time

30/30/0/0/10 is a good start. It has a bit of everything. Op just has to switch traits around. When you pick up the right rotation, you can go for the most optimized build of each weapon set.

I’m in N.A., and I can show Op around some dungeons and fractals if you’re interested.

I was in the same position a while back, I went for staff with traits as 30/10/0/20/10, not the best DPS spec but it gives you good condition removal (for you and your group) and reasonable damage. It’s great while getting used to the class but can get a little dull with the lava font spam :S
Take Fire: VI, VII & XI. Air: VI. Water: VI. and Arcane: V.

Currently I’m moving more towards a D/F spec.

Classes: Guardian, Elementalist, Warrior, Thief, Engineer, Herald
