2 Qurstions
1. place > overcharge > detonate. do that in rapid succession and you’ll create a water field and blast it. if you place it and take too long to overcharge, you’ll have to wait about 3 seconds before the water field will be created. then you can blast it. honestly if you muck up overcharging, better to pick it up than wait for the cooldown.
2. i run 30/30/0/0/10 with elixir r and i don’t use energy sigils. i don’t have any trouble surviving anything from arah to fractal 50.
1) The heal on the healing turret isn’t instant, it happens about a second after activated and lasts for about 3 seconds I believe.
2)For perma swiftness people go into tools- VI. This is what I use for Zerk pve: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fcAQFAUlIqiYn1yuF17IyoCdGoHAmfNife8WtFEC-jgBBYfAUBAZmFRjt4qIas6aYKXER1A-e The sigil is up to you, also traits for tools can be what ever you like, you can also trade out rifle mod for hair trigger. I really like 30 in firearms for then on tools due to the precision gives you nice crit , even though you have less crit dmg I think its worth it. Also mondified ammunition is a great trait as you do about 8 conditions giving you 16 more dmg (which is pretty had to keep up alone but in a team its pretty easy). Also increase dmg by 5% on bleeding foes and criting bleed is great for abit more DPS.
The way I use that build is switch between Rifle no.3 and no.5, grenade, no.2, no.4, no.5 (somtimes no.3 and only use no.1 if everything is on cooldown) also the grenade barriage, Flamethrower no.2. The elixir gun is really optional, but on Zerk the no.4 does alot of dmg also the extra regen and healing field helps you stay alive for a zerk. The downfall to this build is that its hard, remembering cooldowns and switching correctly can be difficult.

1) I somehow tend to fail to trigger area healing with healing tuurret. Has the water fiel a delay or something. If heal-heal looks like instant wheras if I heal-pause-heal seems to be delayed. Is like this or am I missing something?
Previous posters are correct. I made a gif some days ago demonstrating water blast finishers and it also shows when the water field is triggered if you place the turret down and overcharge right away: http://i.minus.com/iU8Nfq7A7ROgQ.gif .
