20/0/20/30/0 build
Even if you went all out maximising Toughness – full ascended/food – Energised Armour will only add ~150 power and if you maxed out Healing Power for Performance Enhancement you’re still looking at ~160 power (though you can combine that with around ~110 from Energised Armor for ~270 power). Unless there are some tricks I’m missing…
If I was you I’d:
- Replace Empowering Adrenaline with Enhance Performance (Extra Might on heal)
- Replace Energised Armour with Protective Shield (Protection on critical hits)
- Replace Elite Supplies with Reinforced Shield (+90 toughness and 20% cool down reduction on shield skills)
- Replace Blood Injection with Cleaning Formula 409 (Removes conditions on Elixir drink/throw)
- Rabid or Carrion Gear
thanks for the advice. sadly after a little digging through the forums found the healing bomb one wich im engjoying building into quite a lot more, so thanks but this will no be dead.
still many thanks drewtwo
With maxed Inventions and the Toughness-to-Power conversion trait, you can get a total of 45 Power from the whole traitline; 30 from Healing, 15 from Toughness. It’s not a particularly effective conversion, but I’ve found it handy.
I never quite understood those conversions (plenty classes have them).
It’s ok as a 5%-conversation as a minor, IMO. But as a Major? Even 10%? Meh. Rather have 35%-50% conversion via some trigger.
Say, when using a healing skill and for 5 seconds after, 50% of power is converted to compassion. I would even go as far as make it convert stats if it’s a major trait. Maybe even 100%, but only non-base power (items + traits + boons). 100% of power is temporarily compassion instead.
Heh, that could make for some interesting trait setups…
That would be…interestingly chaotic.
Well the idea would be that you would get extremely strong heals without having to gear any +compassion. Of course, the effect lingering for 5s would be both blessing and curse, you could do some very powerful support with that (EG #5 or EG TB, Turret or so), but you are effectively damage-less for a brief moment after healing.
Since a lot of attacks are about causing binary conditions or positional advantages this could be played around, but as you say, it’d be chaotic. I think as a GM trait it could work pretty well though. Would change gameplay quite a bit.
Compassion? Engineers don’t know anything about compassion.
