5 points in alchemy = 12%more inc dmg
^
First thing I thought of.
Necros already love this little minor Trait now Warriors will feel that same affection.
I guess now it might be viable to to not have alchemy in your build. Maybe a toughness/inventions based engineer as opposed to a health/boon based one.
Yea it sounds pretty kitten if they dont make any changes into autobuff traits and runesets

Isn’t the 12% dmg only to warrior?
Isn’t the 12% dmg only to warrior?
Did you expect something like that to engi? No way in this universe:-D
//Edit: he mean auto elixir B at 75% HP minor trait

Is this confirmed for Engis? or just expecting this to happen?

He’s talking about the warrior trait they are getting, where they do an extra 3% damage per boon. So some of our minor traits end up hurting us if we take them.
Pretty bad warrior trait if you ask me. Just take the trait for 12% more power when full adrenaline instead.

Why not both?
Is it confirmed we can take both? Knowing the traitline is important because it may not result in overall more damage compared to a normal set.
Well berserker’s power is on strength and I’m sure I heard that new skill was in discipline traitline. Either way bp is an adept trait so you certainly would be able to.
Do you really think you getting fury, might, swiftness, and retal is less than a 12% buff in effectiveness to the engineer? If not, then those 5 points still make you stronger, just not quite as much as they do now, and only against one trait on one class.
12% of 0 is still 0 :p

It’s not that big a deal, really. Warriors get a minor damage boost, but the fact is we get fury, might, swiftness, and retaliation all at once. It has got to compensate for any buff the warrior gets.

Why not both?
2 reasons. They said it would be the New GM trait for Discipline line which really doesn’t go hand in hand with DPS. The other thing is 12% guaranteed dps or theoretical dps if the person is boon buffed. Its not a bad trait and it spread dps around a bit which is good but at the same time it is sort of useless also. Not trolling your forums but figured I could answer this one.

Now all kitten engis will die against warris because of 12% more dmg from warri. Anyway- I am not a kitten engi so I don’t care.
This thread confuses me O.o? what’s it about?
Can anyone explain?

Warriors are getting a new trait that allows them to do an additional 3% damage to a target based on the number of boon types they have on. It’s a grandmaster tier trait in the discipline line.
The title of this thread is referencing the hidden flask minor trait that engineers receive with five points in alchemy. It automatically drinks elixir B when you’re reduced to 75% health, which applies four different boons (might, fury, swiftness and retaliation).
As such, having that automatic use of elixir B occur means that a warrior who is using that trait will gain 12% damage against you since you will now have four different boons on.
The title was likely selected due to the fact that engineers have no control over the effects received from hidden flask, and are thus naturally exposed to such a warrior trait.
and you think this is collateral damage?

You kittens don’t even know what the prefix “meta” means.
The OP is correct but it really is more of a whine than anything.
The same could be said all this time for Necro’s and Corrupt Boon.
Yes a Warrior will get increased dmg but it wont make enough of a difference to counter the benefits of the buffs.
The bigger problem will come from Thieves Boon Stripping you before Hidden Flask kicks in and taking all of your pre built Might.
ty Yams, I did mean Thieves
