Guild Wars 2

I have an Asura Engineer and I was looking through the armour, planning for her higher level, and I haven’t really found anything that looks really Engineer-y.

Could people give me some advice for armour? I have piles of Transmutation stones and I’d like to get a really Engineer themed look. I’m going for Flame thrower for my weapon, so something that looked good with that would be cool.

the Asuran cultural is probably the best your going to get tier 2 or tier 3

Asurian Medium Cultural Tier 2 is the most engineer-y armor set I’ve seen in the game, with the possible of exception of the the Light Tier 3 (the armor Zojja wears that, sadly, we cannot wear).

COF armor might go well with flamethrower.

I enjoy the pirate set personally. Dyed blue or red and I look like a naval commander.

asuran T2 with the SE medium helm for a more surgical approach.

The SE set works good with flamethrower as well. Somewhat “tank-like” if that’s the look you want to go for. It’s what I’m going to use on my engg when I get around to making my flamethrower gear set (mine is a human though).
