G kittening G ANet. As if this trait wasn’t hard enough to use properly already after the huge turret survivability nerfs, HT cast increase, and random half second CD put on detonating turrets. Congrats on removing one of the more interesting and tactical traits Engineer had.

Oh, and nice job making Kinetic Battery a hell of a lot less interesting as well. All the trait needed was a kitten icon on your bar to show when it’s off cooldown like streamlined kits.

You might want to add the explanation of the trait to your post because that trait name hasn’t really been used since 23/6/2015 (merged with Explosive Powder).

“Accelerant-Packed Turrets: When your turrets explode, they push back foes.”

Also, I think they just forgot about this functionallity, surely they didn’t do this on purpose right?

I didn’t notice any of that really when I was playing yesterday but then again I don’t use it to push enemies back I use blinds all the time really.

I can understand the annoyance though if you have a build that relies on an on interrupt mechanic it might need reworking!

I just checked and this is gone but I think they intended on people to pickup the traits to enhance the ammo aspect of gadgets and to use gadgets such as rocket boots and ramshead again which I have to say is nice because it means they become useful. Ammo is definitely a system I enjoy before turrets were a lazy way of blasting enemies away. I like the change.

The only thing turrets were good for was the knockback.

I’ll go with “fell under the radar” since the knockback was on a minor trait in a traitline used by both condi and power PvE raid builds and part of the CC chain for raid boss breakbars.

Eh, I’m on the fence with this one.
They just focused on the explosives line and tools line with these changes.
Lets cross fingers that they deliberately removed it from explosives, in favor of upcoming changes to the inventions-line (and hopefully alchemy and firearms as well).

Maybe these are just a precursor to a complete turret overhaul. At least they did put some attention into them, so I’d rather w8 and see what future changes to the inventions-line will look like.
