Throwing or consuming elixirs removes conditions from those affected. Your boon duration is increased.

wow nice. but 4 skills are affected by hgh – reduction and 2 stack of might but not from those traits.

elixir gun: Acid Bomb, Super Elixir, and Healing Mist are categorized as Elixir skills in-game, they do not benefit from Alchemical Tinctures.

You do not throw or consume any of the elixirs from those skills, thus why they don’t remove conditions.

Necros don’t have reflects, invulns, vigor, blocks,
extra dodges, real stability, mobility skills,
burst skills, sustain, or good support. GG ANET.

Yea, it’s explicitly stated to only refer to consumption or toss. Personally, I think it’s solid enough as a minor trait as it is.

HGH is intended to cover a more broad range of things; and actually affects a lot more than 4 skills:

It does not have the consumption or toss requirement and thus applies to more skills than it did before the specialization change. As a side note, elixir cooldown reduction never reduced toolbelt skills cooldowns, but now they do.

Wording is pretty clear.
If you ever played magic (card game) you would get it.

I do find it strange that ANET is using wording that is so specific, since it isn’t normally the case, but it must make balancing the engineer easier since people can not whine about stuff being bugged when it is working as intended.

Unfortunately engi STILL is bugged a lot, but that’s beside the point.
