Alchemy builds?
Anyone? Any help would be appreciated
If you saw someone mainly using a pistol or rifle and they were popping potions like crazy this is most likely what their alchemy looked like:

If they had a flamethrower or elixir gun on most of the time, it probably looks like this:

As for runes Fire x2, Hoelbrak x2, Strength x2, for 60% additional might duration, this will near double the time on HGH, effectively doubling the might stacks which are applicable for condition and power based damage.
You can fill in the rest of the spec however you want to play it.

Elixirs+bombs is my favorite to play:

This is a tanky build that also does a lot of damage, especially if you consider all the buffs you give to your team. Use +might duration runes and chuck potions constantly — your whole group will have a high number of might stacks at all times. Your fire bomb keeps a fire combo field up most of the time so any blast finishers your group uses will stack even more might. I use a shield instead of dual pistol because the shield gives another blast finisher and a stun (and being in close range, the extra defense skills are helpful). Static discharge actually adds a fair amount of damage and chains to multiple targets, but is kinda hard to aim…it shoots at the center of the target circle where you chuck your potion.
Hello! I run only Alchemist and this is what i use.

I do not support and i feel like if you want to support your team you should spec and gear accordingly.
My gear is full carrions, jewelry and all. it focuses on condition damage. Stack up your might with elixirs before you enter battle and during the battle. After that simple bleed, poison, and burn your foes away.
If you are doing pistol/pistol or pistol/shield go condition damage because going full power/crit is better suited for rifle.
I actually started out pistol/shield but found it was only helpful defending and not chasing and i had no way to slow or immobilize people. Taking damage from arrow carts back out and put on shield. Roaming and killing? Put on the glue gun.
I use mini when i think i need more survivabilty, this skill is amazing and is in my bar most time. Sometimes I swap this out with quickness potion as its more aggressive and lets me really put the pressure on. Eventually you will know the situations you need condition removal elixirs, elixir R, or whatever the situation requires but im just showing you what i roll around with in wvw most times.
Goodluck and i’ll check back here if you have any other questions.
