A shadowy figure enters the room, cloaked in darkness so as to not be identified by any stealthy vigilantes waiting to strike upon recognition of who is undoubtedly one of the Devs; a title bestowed upon those who care nothing for a profession they created… Engineers, the wielders of broken utilities.
Dev- “Why have you summoned me?” He asks in the garbled speech of one who opts for vocal distortion.
Me- I merely wish to inquire about the state of my beloved profession. Not just for myself you understand, but for those who undoubtedly have questions that need answers as well. Surely you are aware that there are many problems, bugs I should say, concerning the use and applicability of turrets?
Dev- He pauses for a moment, deliberating on how to address the situation so as not to promote further conflict. Finally he says, “The Engineer is in a good place functionality wise and we have no intent to disturb the state of equilibrium at this time.”
Me- Surely you are joking with me good sir? There are literally pages of bugs listed on the forums solely regarding turrets. It becomes apparent very quickly that many of these have persisted since OBT and public release. It seems only natural that the Engineer community would appreciate answers about current attempts to rectify such problems, especially those that were just implemented in November when turrets were supposedly “buffed.” Based upon appearances this was just a colorful bug bouquet.
Dev- Looking over the list of bugs I have given him he furrows his brow… suddenly he grins; a loophole he has found! “I see here that many of these newer bugs are tied with Deployable Turrets and the Overcharging effect, just don’t use those anymore.”
Me- I stare blankly at the ignorance of such a suggestion.
Dev- “OK! We get it already, you would like to use the turrets we gave you. However, things are not that easy as it takes time to correct such mistakes!”
Me- That is certainly understandable, but does it really take over a year to correct some of these issues? At the very least it would be courteous to correct the previous ones before you slap another Kick Me sign on our backs!
Dev- “Let’s not blow this out of proportion, we did increase their survivability. You went from 30% damage reduction to 33%! Now that’s nothing to scoff at.
Me- Another blank stare. My will to live is slowly but surely slipping. You do realize the hitbox of turrets are grossly disproportionate?
Dev- “Which is why we increased their range by 50%! Is it truly necessary to squabble like this? Why not focus on all of the positive things we have implemented for turrets instead?”
Me- That would be due to the fact that every implementation you have provided thus far only adds to the known list of existing bugs, which in actuality nullifies many of these so called “buffs” of yours.
Dev- “It’s not as if you are being forced to use them. You have plenty of fully functional skills and traits that function appropriately, just use those for now.”
Me- That clearly does not fix the issue at hand. All we are trying to say is that we have taken the time and effort as a community to catalogue these issues and simply wish for you to at least suggest that you are going through lengths to use this information to correct the problems at hand! Is it really that hard to get a little customer service around here? I will even provide you with a link to easily view the aforementioned “information” so you have no further excuses on the matter:

Dev- “Obviously I can make no promises on the matter, but I can say we will “look into it”.”
Me- In all honesty, that’s all we want to hear. It’s nice to know once in a while that these matters are known to you and that you are continuing to work on them. Well, it was a pleasure speaking with you today! You may now crawl back to whatever hole you came out of and hopefully we will hear from you again shortly; meaning sometime before another year has passed.
P.S.
