The two traits that boost crit chance at close range are nice…when you’re close enough for them to work. Which will probably only be for one or two attacks after a magnet pull. Kinetic Charge can be nice too, but it’s so kitten situational, Adrenal Implant will be more useful in general. One nice thing is that Launch Personal Battering Ram seems to actually daze enemies now, so grenades+tool kit+battering ram+mortar kit make a pretty good SD build.

Well before the patch hit, I was using Rifle Turret, Utility Goggles and Elixer S. My usual rotation was: Stealth + U. goggles > Net Shot (5 vuln + immob + cripple) > Surpise shot > Analyze (10 vuln) > Blunderbuss > Jumpshot (5 vuln). With the instant 20+ stacks of vuln really helps. That would usually kill light and med classes and some zerk heavies. Now, I can’t keep the vuln up to 15 most of the time.
Mokittenoes work well with the build though. But I don’t really like ground targeted skills. I don’t want to abuse the keyboard on my laptop. I could give PBR a try if thats the case

You bring up a good point, Deltaray. I don’t think most people realize(d) how well cripple synergize(d) with Static Discharge. That’s why Sitting Duck was probably nixxed, because no one was selecting it.
It was a great way for SD’s to still get benefits from Condi’s….

You got that right! With that set up + Modified Ammunition, that was a sure 8-10% damage increase (immob + vuln + cripple + bleed/blind/burn)

Thanks for that, but I really despise Zerging. That build cant survive on small roaming builds and 1vX situations unlike some builds. Also, the topic is abount Static Discharge that a lot of old vets liked using in PvP/WvW, so you’re kinda off topic bud. Good build for zerging though!

I guess SD is rly strong in wvw, with aim assisted rocket. zerker works fine for roaming aslong as u know what to Dodge
