Honestly….This is a joke right?

You guys refuse to buff us, and also make grenades slower in PvP. A manually clicked aoe in PvP that gets slowed.

Then entice us with the promise of sigils being useful, and then suddenly throwing us a 30% dmg decrease in grenades.

There is a better way of making us stop playing Engineers, just let us swap out Engineers for another class already and delete it holy crap.

Naah, what they need to do is replace them with commandos, the april fools joke proffession.

Dont worry the hoards of other professions who complained about us… oh wait, there are none? Oh, okay, so… uh..?

Oh right it was OTHER engineers! complaining about grenadiers… because they felt they had to use them to be VIABLE? Well sheesh better nerf those grenades then instead of FIXING THE PLETHORA OF BUGS MAKING OUR OTHER KITS INEFFECIENT! Oh yeah. That.

Easier to nerf the outlier to make the other engies feel good? Thats like chopping off your left arm to make the right one feel better.

If they would do that for grenades, all might be forgiven. The only way we make back the dps we lost is to be able to viably hit things with grenades. Making them travel faster would go a long way to accomplishing that.

They have a few more classes to nerf, then they will roll out with a class swap item in the gem store. $$$ Cha-Ching $$$

Nah, I came here from playing SWTOR’s Scoundrel lol. In comparison to that, this isn’t really all that bad.

This. i held out until this patch, but its going to be a long time before they show engineers love. Just re-roll, it isn’t worth the heartache.

The first time I saw another engineer was like 2 months into the game, I was so excited that there was another one just like me, I ended up talking to him for more than half and hour about engineer builds and other stuff. This is bad, no?

I haven’t been the one to bash arenanet whenever I disagreed with something. But nerfing grenades because they can’t fix the numerous amount of bugs with our class the most lazy solution to the problem possible.
Why do they proceed to nerf classes that are considered one of the weaker ones in the first place?

Only lv80’s
-Warrior: 45 ~24%
-Thief: 30 ~16%
-Guardian: 27 ~15%
-Ranger: 24 ~13%
-Elementalist: 24 ~13%
-Mesmer: 15 ~8%
-Necromancer: 13 ~7%
-Engineer: 8 ~4%

If professions were represented evenly they would all be 12.5% or ~13%

All levels:
-Warrior: 53 ~23%
-Thief: 38 ~16%
-Elementalist: 34 ~14%
-Guardian: 32 ~14%
-Ranger: 29 ~12%
-Mesmer: 25 ~11%
-Necromancer: 13 ~6%
-Engineer: 11 ~5%

I’d gladly accept a patch in which they would not introduce new things (presumably buff something, and then nerfing the whole profession to balance things out), and instead fix ALL the existing bugs. Kitten, I’d gladly accept a second patch after that, in which they do nothing at all to the engineer.

If I could delete my character but I still had all my stuff like karma, bank inventory, surplus levels, and dungeon progress…

I would do it.
