I want to craft my first ascend armor but i dont know wich one.

I usually play PvE, fractals, dungeon and now raids.

I prefer to play scrapper but all people in lfg search condi engi.

So it’s better to go viper or i go for zerk ?

Viper is better than Zerk for engineer. It doesn’t mean that zerker engineer is bad, it’s good. Just not as good as Viper Engineer. That said, pug are stupid and might not accept you in raid with a zerker engineer for no good reason.

That said, for a condi engineer the explosive and firearms are pretty much the build. The last spec ’’Tool’’ is pretty much quality of life so you could replace it with scrapper if you like it and it won’t affect much your dps.

Condi engi for current fotm post lv50 and for first raid boss. Everywhere else and past decemper patch, the power zerk engi > condi. Open world aka the jungle depends on what you’re fighting ofc. High toughness favors condi, high movement favors power f.ex. But overall power is better in the jungle too.
