I’m running a condition engi with grenades and full rabid gear. Now that kits get a power-up, I consider crafting ascended weapons. What do you guys think, is it worth it for condition damage? Do I get more “ticks” or can I save my money?
I dont care about wvw infusion that much. What I want to know is if there’s a noticeable difference between exotics and ascended weapons now? For Zerker gear, at least there’s a 3-5% power-up compared to exotics. But I dont know how it works on condition damage?

You won’t see an increase in your condition damage other than from the small increase from the stats. It is hard to say just how “worth it” it is. Though, as insanemaniac mentions, pink gear does allow for more infusion slotting which adds a twist to WvW. Moreover, it is absolutely necessary for high level fractals as you can only get 30 AR from accessories.

Make that 45.
and 45 is good enough to survive lvl 30-39 where the loot becomes interesting.
Ofc having 85 is the most relaxing way of running fractals what so ever xD
sigh, I might have to get rid of some agony infusions for maybe magical find or wvw stuff.
