Eng – Nora Rockbell
Gua-Nec-War I Am _ Nora
Hey, everyone, I found the dazing combo is not well-functioning in the POI video
https://youtu.be/woB0cXNEjJM?t=7m11s
In the video, You can find that the third leap combo strike affect the golem just besides the targeting golem (pls adjust the speed to 0.25), and does nothing to the targeting golem. So it seems like the dazing strike can only affect one target randomly if the leap finisher can hit multiple targets. I think it will be kind useless in large team combat.
Here is the Improvement
Rework the combo function to make the dazing strike only affect on the engineer’s current target;or
Make it affect multiple targets based on the number of the finisher skill.
What do you think?
The wiki says this about leap finishers:
A leap finisher is a skill that can create a combo effect by interacting with a combo field. Leap effects are applied directly to either the skill’s user or the skill’s target.
According to this the daze should be applied only on your target. Guess it’s something they just have to fix and the randomness is not intended..
I believe this is just a mechanic of rocket charge. If you watch the whole video, you see it always kind of moves ikitteng-zag pattern. I think that if there are multiple enemies, the second leap will hit another nearby enemy. The first and third leaps hit the target.
Edit: jk I watched closely and it looked like none of the gollems were being dazed in that clip… I could see stun, but saw neither daze icons nor visual effects on the target or any other gollems. Are test gollems immune to daze?

Im pretty sure, at least in the last strike, the golem (see attachment, that golem had a bubble visual effect above its head) just beside the targeting golem was dazed.
same with Vault and Bounding Dodger, trying to hit everyone but it doesnt clearly indicate that it would be random
