Guild Wars 2

Hi.
Haven’t been playing GW2 since 6 months, but now I’m back and will be levelling my Engineer again (as soon as GW2 finishes reinstalling -_-). He’s level 52, and I was going for a Rifle-based Flamethrower/Elixir Gun/random support skill build. Just wanted to know, how viable are Flamethrowers and Elixir gun atm? Should I shift to Rifle/Bombs or Rifle/Grenades instead?
Oh and my traits, if I remember rightly were in Firearms and Alchemy.
I plan to be using this guy for PvE, WvW and hopefully lots of dungeon runs. Not anticipating any PVP anytime soon.

Any build advice would be greatly appreciated!

But next time, please take a moment to browse through the last few pages of the folder before posting a thread. There are a few threads on page 2 regarding the Flamethrower in both PvE and WvW, one of which I already gave most of the information relevant to what you are looking for.
