with kits u can use a swap sigil (energy, geomancer, hydromancer, renewal) and a kill sigil (bloodlust, corruption, perception, life)
Since there does not seem to be a consensus I’m looking for someone who did the numbers or has a lot of experience. Currently I’m undecided between battle, torment and energy. I prefer to go more offensive so so I’d like to know if battle will deal more damage than torment. Torment of course, also acts as a cover condition.
For a conditions build, you can stack corruption to 25 on monsters, then switch to a weapon with a superior sigil of bursting. I would recommend torment on your other weapon.
energy, geomancy, battle, torment, stacking types, force/night/bursting, leeching, generosity, and maybe a couple others i cant think of atm are most of the legit options for sigils. on swap sigils are quite viable for engi, cuz we can always proc them on cd without opportunity cost, so people generally like to take advantage.
if you want detailed answers youll need to be a bit more forthcoming with info about your build. that said, looks like condi nades… are you perplexity? yes? the confusion scares the kitten out of people, so an extra cover condi is prolly best for that (torment)… if you have like 30%+ crit rate. are you full dire? yes? then dont take torment. is that speedy kits + invigorating swiftness i spy in your traits? yes? then dont take energy. since weve reasonably established youre a condi build without you actually saying so, definitely take corruption (and another weapon w/ bursting if thats your thing).

I think asking for the “numbers” is a slippery slope. You can never calculate everything that will affect those numbers.
As others have said, there are many good sigil sets we can use, but you’re specifically deciding between two of: Battle, Torment, and Energy? I would suggest Energy for sure, easy extra endurance using that which is quite useful. As for the other one I would go Torment unless you have other might stacking in your build which it doesn’t sound like. Not that Battle is bad without might stacking gear by any stretch, but just by itself I don’t think it’s as valuable as the Torment we don’t otherwise have access to especially in a condition build.

A lot of stuff is pretty sweet.
Leeching, Tormenting, Battle, Earth and Hydromancy are probably the most popular. With a stacking sigil for offhand.

I like geomancy and corruption. If you don’t like getting the stacks for corruption, bursting is nice.
This is probably common knowledge already, but the on swap damage sigils like hydromancy and geomancy will proc if you switch kits in the middle of dodges. I like to take advantage of that when I can.

Yeah, that’s not as common for engg since we have fairly easy access to poison. I usually see it more on warrior condi builds since it just adds onto their bleeds and such.
Doom still isn’t a bad choice though by any means though, especially if you’re using a rifle.
I always run corruption on one (if I was power, I would use bloodlust). I’m not swapping out to bursting after anymore since it’s been announced that the swap will be nerfed (you’ll lose the stacks) and that would be a waste of an ascended weapon later down the road. If you are just using exotics and don’t mind a few gold loss, then go for it if you want to.
For me the choice between sigils depends on my runeset/build. If I’m running something that stacks might, I’ll go with battle. If I’m running something that stacks a lot of various conds or aoe conds, I’ll go with torment. I just further enhance whatever it is that I’m already doing/aiming for with my sigils.
