Better Utilities than Elixirs?
www.Twitch.tv/kreepingg
I’ve been running Healing Turret, Thumper Turret, Flame Turret, and Throw Mine. I’m also built to use Turrets in close combat, combined with tanking, with a pistol and shield. Not sure if it’s the best possible setup; I know it’s the best I’ve come across yet.
Good suggestion and I appreciate it. But I also wanna do mobile PvP, sorry I didn’t mention that.

for pvp gadgets can easily replace elixirs but require a lot more practice. Consider looking into; Rocket Boots; Personal Battering Ram; Slick Shoes; Utility Goggles. You might have to abandon might stacking / boons to focus more on conditions because boons are an alchemy trait.
For PvE, you should stick to elixirs.
It’s surprisingly useful even in mobile fights, oddly enough, if you’re not shy about detonating things moments after you place them for extra damage/combos. Can take on a Veteran Karka and occasional extra Young Karka single-handedly using the build I do, and there’s a lot of moving around involved.
Haven’t tried it in PvP, but I do intend to try it in WvW at some point soon.
@ Orion, I love this idea, I’ll defiantly look into that more. What trait would you go instead of alchemy if you go with this build?

Based on your requirements, I’d use a crit+(condition on crit) rifle build. 30 firearms.
Go for the Eyes,Rifle Mod,Hair Trigger.
i’d still keep 10 points in alchemy for, Self-Regulating Defenses.
Speedy Gadgets is a must. Inertial Converter is also good in a pinch. 15 tools.
The rest (15) goes to power. Incendiary Powder.
How good you are depends more on you using the right gadget at the right time than your traits.
Rocket Boots=dps&escape
Personal Battering Ram=knockback&cripple
Slick Shoes=escape&travel
Utility Goggles=damage burst+stun break

Hmmm… My only problem with that is I hate the rifle.. Is this viable in a P/P build? That’s really my choice of weapon.

Rifle is better in pvp… unfortunately. You can use P/P but i think its a lot harder to kill in PvP because even with high crit, their damage is too low. Of course thats only my opinion, feel free to go pistols if you think it suits you more.
