is there any way to time bob and the os with the fire bomb field so i get all 3 finishers in? whatever i do i only seem to be able to get two.

I tried a few combinations:
no short fuse -> Orbital Strike -> Fire Bomb -> Big Ol’ Bomb (First Orbital Strike misses)
with short fuse -> Orbital Strike -> Fire Bomb -> Big Ol’ Bomb (Big Ol’ Bomb misses)
no short fuse -> Big Ol’ Bomb -> Fire Bomb -> OS (Last Orbital Strike misses)
with short fuse ->Big Ol’ Bomb -> Orbital Strike-> Fire Bomb (All three hits)

So yes, you can do it with short fuse since Big Ol’ Bomb is not affected by Short Fuse (might be a bug).

p.s: You can not do it with static discharge or bunker down on, they will break your skill queue and make the firebomb miss (also a bug, funny how they are all over the place).

What Are said, though I believe you can still do it with SD, it just means you have to spam the crap out of the buttons to get them to fire. Best to not take that trait.

BoB -> Orbital -> Field of your choice.

I’m loving traited orbital, allows me to do an easy full stealth stack (Healing Turret -> BoB -> Orbital -> Smoke Bomb -> Wait a tick -> Detonate HT in Smoke Field as BoB/Orbital do their thing -> Swap FT and Flame Blast) Flame blast can be swapped for your shield blast, a thumper rumble or really a lot of options.

Short fuse is key to using the Bomb fields for it.

I defer to Are, it looks like he’s spent some time trying every different rotation to get those three blasts in one Fire Bomb.

If this is something you’re looking to improve on use Napalm from the Flamethrower, it lasts over 3 times as long.

Traited orbital with “ht > bob > os > sb > detonate ht > acid bomb”, even if done perfectly, you only get 12 sec because of the long delay between first and last finisher. Nothing beats thumper turret for a “perfect” stack, but who want’s to have a 50sec blocked utility slot eh? Another option is “ht > bob > sb > magnetic shield twice + rumble (thumer toolbelt) + detonate ht > acid bomb”, since they almost all can be used at the same time without waiting for animations. Especially using acid bomb over flame blast gives you an additional quality of life since A) the animation is shorter and you can already jump into the direction you want to skip.


btt: Are is right, only with short fuse: Big Ol’ Bomb > Orbital Strike > Fire Bomb all 3 finishers are gonna hit. This is be the only in combat option to use them all at the same time. But since orbital has 50% more cd than bob and the fire bomb is up all the time, you could even play without short fuse and use those finisher seperatly. If you are talking about pre might stack, you’re doing better with the 10 sec napalm fire field:

healing turret > orbital strike > napalm > flame blast > big old bomb > rumble (thumper toolbelt) > swap bomb kit with elixier gun > acid bomb > flame blast (> magnetic shield if you really want to) = 25 stacks might (or 24 withtout the last one).

But it would be better if your whole team blasts together so all the finishers come at the same time and therefore the might uptime is longer

It might read 12 but just like a 15s stack reads 14 you’re still at “13”, it only takes about a second, 2 at most, to land all the blasts if you’re doing it right.

Orbital’s second blast is on a 1s delay, in that time you’ll be detonating your healing turret and beginning to cast whatever 5th blast you chose (rumble probably best, though you make a good point with Acid to start your run, but Flame blast, Magnetic Inversion, whatever). In any case you’re gonna see 2 “area stealths” right as your smoke bomb pops from BoB/First Orbital, then you detonate turret for the third, and begin that 5th blast and while that’s going off you’ll see the second orbital 5 blasts in ~1s.

The only time period you can not change is bob until 2nd os. And therefore you will always see 12, wich might be 12,99 aswell sec.

thanks for the answers!
i only need to provide those 3 finishers, since my team will do the rest. flamethrower would crew up my damage too much (since i also need grenades for vuln and elixir something for reflect).
