Every mortar kit skill is weak because they have 1200 range and make combo fields. The mortal kit toolbelt skill is where the damage is.
Also you seem to be ignoring the fact that only 3 of the 7 kits actually have good skills in their 2 slot (grenade, bomb, flamethrower). The 2 slot skills from tool kit, elixer gun, and med kit are pretty lackluster and certainly worse than the mortar kit 2, at least in pve.

Yeah well OP didn’t say anything about how he wanted to press the 2 button more, he said he wanted to bring it in line with other kits. And in PVE the mortar kit 2 skill is better than the 2 skill on three kits and worse than three kits. So it’s pretty much already there. He probably means bring it in line with grenade/bomb/ft #2 while still having 1200 range and making a poison field which would be disgusting but hey who am I to judge.

idk why youre getting mad at me, all im saying is that i support his suggestion cuz i wanna push 2 10% more often

I agree that mortar 2 could use a damage boost, both, a bit more direct and condi damage. After all it’s the damaging skill of the mortar – well it could be interpreted as that one at least.
Yet in the end the mortar is there to create combo fields, not damage in the first place.
With a full buffed damage of 8k in both power and condi, I’m barely ok with it.

Remember that Day mortar kit did damage..
Just fix the AA projectile finisher finally…..
Mortar-Kit was meant as a combo machine, giving a double blast finisher with it’s toolbelt and an AoE AA projectile finisher. If it would work like it is supposed too, it would be awesome.
Just imagine skill 4 and 5 of mortar…. removing 5 conditions per AA (with 5 targets) and up to 10s regeneration per AA (again with 5 targets).
I don’t think skill 2 needs a buff, just fix the AA so it is actually doing it’s job!!!
