Hi folks,
I’ve been having a blast with the Engineer in HoT! Previously, I’ve played as a power rifle/hammer build, but looking to build a viper set to play a condition build; however, I’m curious as to whether conditions engineer is viable in Spvp and WvW? (I know it’s perfectly viable in PvE ) I tend to prefer to stick to one central playstyle, and was hoping that I could be competitive with a condition build in comparison to the scrapper hammer meta.

You can use Condi spec in WvW for roaming but i would prefer a rabid/dire mix.

In Zerg Fights power is more common, because most Zergs have massive coni remove.

Condition builds are viable another option is to go a might stacking with celest ammy

On another note, in doing fractals and the raid, would condition as an engineer be the preferred damage there, or would power hammer (or rifle) be equally viable as well? Just recently came back to the game after a long break and currently trying to catch up. Thanks!

I am not so in PvE Fractals or Raid but i think a condition engi with Viper/Sinister gear is one of the best DDs.

Oh good point, didnt know the new trailblazer stats, kitten these descisions made me mad.
