WvW wall defender build. the best i can come up with is condi nades with mortar and maybe turrets depending on how well they are painting the walls. anyone got a nice solid build for shutting down attackers?

You can. Go full zerk, max crit and dps, level up your arrowcart mastery and build superior arrowcart there its only way how you can do something with attackers as engi from the wall:-)

Put I would say that a glass nade engi with celestial stats works so well.
You can sit on the wall and rain nades on the area.
When they get down the gate you can switch at the last few % to a bomb build and place area defence with the lord.

So many times I have held a tower for a long period of time by those methods. It allows you to hold both inside and out the tower.
