So I’m still getting used to engi and I’ve started to notice certain kits are better against certain classes, some almost even hard counter them.

For example, I’ve noticed bomb kit almost entirely counters thieves (unless they’re pp) because of the melee and range and their mobility.

What other hard counters have you found if any?

Eh…it’s not really that simple, even if thieves do tend to get melted by bomb kit.

However, I think you could say that heavy conditions applied by kits like bomb, grenade, and elixir gun are easily countered by necros. Also, the multi-hit aspect of grenades and the frequent damage tick of the flamethrower auto do make those kits susceptible to taking a lot of damage from retaliation.
