Bulwark gyro in wvw
Nope. It would still die too easily in zergs, but it would be unstoppable in small fights.
The toolbelt skill balances things a bit, because it gets better in large fights, where the gyro gets worse.
You can still use it strategically. I tend to use it for clutch damage reduction, stability, and quickness to make a swift getaway.
In PvE Bulwark gyro also takes 100% damge trough it’s passive.

This seems to apply to a lot of engineer thingymajiggys where the side effects are more useful than the actual thingymajiggy so it’s more optimal to just blow it up immediately in other to get more of the side effect.
