I like to change the slickshoes int bombs, backpack reg into protection injection, and packet turrets into forcefull explosives sometimes — it`s a lot more zone controle, but you`re not running any stunbrakes, which is a evil weaknes against eg necros.

Oppinions ?

in my opinion changing slick shoes for bombs will always be a bad idea ;(

you need a stunbreak until you know for certain the other team doesnt have a lockdown-y mes, a condi necro, a hammer warrior, a longbow ranger, any engi, any teef, and any ele. and if you do come up against that miraculous 5 guardian team, 1 will be sure to be running hammer.

im a big fan of 0 stunbreak builds, but they just dont have a place in pvp cuz the odds of getting cc locked and +1’d to death are over 9000.

You build has a Carrion amulet? Not dire?

Anyway, would suggest using dual pistol or pistol shield on a dire set.

But in terms of weapon choice I disagree.
The ps combination is not applying enough conditions to justify it in terms of dmg, since the power of the Carrion armulet and the sigill of intelligence give you a good burst dmg, when prybar is on cd.
However the defensive options are more difficult to handle when running a rifle, but you`re output is high enough to compensate the two (long cd !!) blocks.

Since you are relying A LOT more on condi’s to deal damage, shield allows you to BUY that time a lot easier.
If more damage is needed the Pistol/pistol 4 deals crazy high damage, both power and burning.
Even pistol 3 is technically a damage mitigation skill due to blind, on top of that you can reliably get 1 or 2 stacks of extra confusion with it.
Pistol 2 would allow you to swap Sigil of Doom for something more appropriate.

Been running this exact same build, but it’s simply not as good as celestial. Celestial having precision and more crit damage, you actually do more power based damage with cele than carrion while having WAY more sustain. Would totally take Elixir S over slick shoes here, since you get the toolbelt recharge and S is better at mitigating burst.
