Hello, my account name as you all can see is erakus, I am currently in the middle of a statistics course, and for the semester long project, and we were given complete control over the project. So I decided to focus it on the game that I am currently playing for large amounts of time, guild wars 2. The subject, is to figures why people play or don’t play each classes, and to find trends within the information. To collect the information I am seeking, I have created a 5 minute survey that I am hoping you the members of the community will answer. Link Is below. For those curious about the results I will post them after I am done.
TLDR; Statistics course 5 minutes survey I would like answered to find trends amongst the played classes.

What does “needed for comp” mean? Maybe a stupid question, but I am not a native speaker and a quick check in the dictionary didn’t help.

Also good luck with the assignment.

Done. Pretty charts with the results!

@Jack, I believe that means that you are playing the class because your team (sPvP) or server group (WvW) needs that class. It stands for composition – your optimal team might call for a particular class or build. If you are playing a class because it is ‘needed for comp’, I guess it means that it is a class that you are playing out of necessity rather than personal preferences.

Haha, the Engineer results say so much about our class. The only thing holding this (my favorite class) up in PVE is that it’s so fun to play. I really hope that the new specialization makes us more useful for a group, and brings us into the “meta.”

Hi, my name is Gern, and I’m an altoholic….
