Cleansing Burst unreliable?
You have to wait for the field to appear. It is not instant. It requires timing. Best place to get a feel for it would be the mists.
Turret firing cycles don’t reset to accommodate an Overcharge – what this means is that if you activate the Overcharge immediately after the Turret fires (in this case, the usual animation of the Healing Turret), it will not do the Overcharge until the next iteration of the firing cycle; with Healing Turrets, this is ~5.45 seconds later, at the moment (it’s believed that this is a bug, and that it should fire every 3 seconds instead; the QA fellow on the bug board has sent the general issue of turret fire rates in for review. In theory, we should be able to find out what’s going on).

Actually, if you just spam the overcharge button as you drop the turret, you should get the waterfield to appear every time.

Yeah, but it doesn’t =/ Unless it doesn’t always show the animation or something.

It almost does. If you’re lagging a bit, then it won’t be as reliable.
Yea, that’s it!!!!! It must be lag. There’s quite a few times in larger battles that the overcharge doesn’t seem to proc before I detonate. I miss getting a good heal in. It is kitten annoying.

There’s also an issue with Deployable Turrets, where activating the Overcharge while the Turret is in midair will cause the OC to go on cooldown without activating it at all.
I’ve tested a bit more, mostly in in the mists and LA, and there was no lag. :P Anyway, it seems that it has to do with what Anymras said about iterations of the firing cycle. I just payed attention to the animation to it before blowing it up. Putting down healing turret and then pressing overcharge doesn’t cause the animation to happen until like 2-3sec.
I tried then to do it asap, and it seemed to work this time, but I had to be extremely fast. And the interval is extremely small, I guess I might even have been blowing it up too early sometimes still… or too late?
