Condi Sigils- Post-Nerf
The problem with engineer after this nerf is that Engineer cannot switch weapon like other classes.
Other classes can hold 2 sets of weapons with same stack sigil, then switch out one of the sets after they reach 25 stacks. The stacks will stay as long as there’s one set of the weapon that has the same sigil, and you can switch between them however you like without losing your stack.
I think this sigil change is extremely unfair to Ele and Eng because other classes can exploit the new system and take both, but engineer is stuck with either stack or direct damage boost.
so given the unfairness, which do you take?
Battle+Energy /15 chars
Energy, Leeching, Purity/Generosity are all great for Condi Engis.

I use Battle and Torment. Additional condition AND direct damage is nice boost and additional type on condition is always nice.
For pvp, I run battle/geomancy normally, sometimes switching to battle/energy or battle/doom.
Torment/Energy on pistols. Thinking Doom or Hydro on shield. Would mention Rifle but it’s set for power dmg.
Other 80s: Any but Warrior
I use battle and strength myself. Grenades do a whole lot of direct damage alongside of their condis, so I stack might up as high as I can get it. Once I hit 18 or so stacks of might by myself, the fun never ends.

For WvW I tend to go for Battle and Torment. I find the Torment sigil so good because it’s an extra condition on your target which could mean they strip the torment stack instead of my burning, versus necros this can suck a little though.. I also like going for Energy instead of Torment or Earth instead of Torment when I am dueling a lot.
For PvP I usually go with Battle and Energy. Sometimes I take Earth instead of Energy if I am dueling a lot but yeah that doesn’t happen often unless I duel with some guildies in a custom arena.
