Hi guys,
Just after some advice on condition damage, I’m currently self buffed with sigils, food etc at about 1996, I have dire armour and weapons, rabid trinkets scavenger runes and sigil of corruption that I swap out at max stacks for sigil of bursting and sigil of battle. Just wondering if there is a soft cap? As I only have one ascended trinket at the moment. With food my condition duration is 70% .

What’s the max people usually run with in a condition build ? What should I be aiming for?

Thats really really high, so you’re fine. Most people will sit at 1.4-1.7k condi dmg for a pure condition build

I remember seeing a screenshot of an engineer with over 3k condition damage, but 2k is definitely above average. If you’re not permanently sitting at 25 stacks of might and your vitality is 1500 or lower, runes of the noble might result in a higher condi dmg than scavenging.

i run full dire everything with runes of scavenger and sigil of bursting, with the trait that also increases your condition damage based on vitality, and 300 points into firearms, i was getting just over 2400 condition damage after stacks if i remember correctly.

this part i cant remember if its right or not but with the vitality to condi damage trait and all the food taking exotic dire with the condi damage high jewel will actually add up to more condition damage then ascended since you cant get dire/dire stats, but that may have changed

did the build up in build craft and total condition damage without might is 2406, if you have dire rabid ascended trinkets they are better only by 58 condition damage without infusions, so i think granted the annoyance to keep getting ascended atm its okay to skip them for the moment.

I sit at around 1.4-1.6k depending on my armor (Rabid vs Apoth)

I sit at about 3k in combat on mesmer.

The best way to maximize damage with conditions, is to get 100% condition duration.

When I run my dire set, I rune full dire armor and trinkets. Rare veggie pizza runes of the nightmare, and 2 givers weapons with a 30/30/0/010 build. Puts me at 1800+ condition damage but gives me 100% condition duration.

The benefit of condition duration generally gives much much more damage then raising condition damage itself. Unless of coarse, your hitting the cap or playing with others stacking burning and poison. This, of coarse is the biggest draw back to conditions, when your with other condition users and your damage is interfering with each others.

How do you guys get such high condition damage? I am fully geared with rabid and stuff but I’m not close to 2k… more like 1.5k

If you fully maximize with your stats you should be sitting at 1.7k+ condition damage and with buffs and might you should be able to get to around 3.1 to 3.2k, maybe more i havn’t maxed it out myself, you do some serious damage when you do hit the 3k mark as it is though!
