Condition or power? (PvE dungeons?)
what weapon/kit you planning to use?
lv80 Necromancer, all professional skills unlocked, working on the final norn elite skills.
Depends on how you want to play, but Pow/Prec benefit the FT miles more then Conditions. Since you mention the FT I used it as an example.
What is more efficient for dungeons? Build ideas?
For dungeons I use P/P condition build with Elixir Gun and Elixirs. It works nicely.
I’d say that P/P is the build you want to use when you focus on condition damage. Maybe Bombs too. If you go Rifle and Grenades then you’d better go for Power.
For Dungeons with PUGs; I’d recommend going Power. A lot of PUGs like to do runs quickly and with as much damage as possible. To fully utilize it I’d recommend using builds that involve Bomb Kit, Wrench Kit, Flamethrower (I’d recommend precision for this as well, since you should be utilizing it’s unique mechanic to proc many times). If you do not want to run a kit: Rifle is a solid choice, but Pistol is nice as well for the AoE. As a note, Pistol scales quite well with power, albeit less powerful than the rifle, it will still provide some nice utility via conditions. Let it also be known that AoE reigns supreme in PvE, at the moment, though hopefully in the future it should be adjusted.
Where can I see the 100nades build? I keep seeing threads about it.
Also, is the consensus to go Glass Cannon? Or should I mix in other stats too?
I run 30/0/20/20/0. Elixer u, elixer gun, nades, pistol, pistol. I use the sigils that stack power and that provide 3 might on weapon swap every 9 seconds. I also use apothecary armored to keep my heals and vitality high. I use condition trinkets to take advantage of switching weapons every 10 seconds.
You must swap constantly to take advantage of all of your skills. Trait your power line with bleeds. Swap swap swap. You will do so much damage while you stack bleeds, vulnerability, cripples,poisons, weakness, and blinds. You will also put out great heals over time with the elixer gun.
This is my build. I spec for power but I still increase my conditions with trinkets. This way my conditions last long while putting out medium damage ticks per second but I also hit hard on the DPS side.
Remember to always swap every 10 seconds. With dodges, my tools, and weapons, I am at around 30 weapon or dodge based key strokes in 30 seconds.
Engis to be a great class requires a lot of key strokes.

My thoughts:
Condition=pve only

I use a 10/30/0/30/0 might-stacking with FT and elixir with Pow/Prec/Cond + celestial/berserk jewel with earth+strenght sigil and hit for ~2500 direct + ~650 burning + ~110 × 5/6 stack of bleed

My thoughts:
Condition=pve only
Condition=pve/WvW only
there are enough people in WvW that do not run condition removal that Elixir P/P is very very viable.More people kill themselves off confusion than anything else It is my strongest build/class out of all my 80s(All except necro/guardian I have at 80).
Probably a lot of this is due to fact people do not have a clue what a Eng is going to pull out and use.
