Guild Wars 2

So recently ive been getting bored with Guild Wars 2 so I decided to play a little Dungeons and Dragons online. When I get in the game I started playing my Artificer (The only class I loved everything about in ddo) and I started thinking, “what if the GW2 Engineer was like this”. In a nut shell the Artificer is a steampunk-ish caster who wields a mechanical repeating crossbow and a magically engineered gauntlet that shoots magic bolts. It even has a mechanical pet dog to tear through enemies along side his creator.

The gw2 engineer just seemed so underwhelming compared to the artificer. I would really like to see Arena Net take some ideas from this class and use them with the engineer. Maybe not the spell caster stuff but definitely the mechanical crossbow and the gauntlet (It could be some sort of Asura created device?), Plus who wouldn’t want a mechanical dog? We could keep it alive by beating it with our wrench? Anyways, what do you guys think? I would love to see some of this stuff on the engineer in the future.

Why? It would be fitting for the engineer and would offer more options for weapons instead of just rifle, pistol/pistol, or pistol/shield

To each his own , and mine is NO , this GW2 not DDO ty.

You know what would be an awesome engineer?

Turrets. They would be awesome. You know; stationary gun platforms that are hard to kill and/or do lots of damage!

But you know; instead we get heaps of versatility with our Kits. And potions. And remotely-detonated mines.

Legendary Weapon suitable for Engineer hip shot: The Utility Crossbow
Companion Robot This could be a complex Toolkit with various commands for your robot or a simple version Gadget. I would love it and it suits a Mechanical Tinker perfectly.

I want Axton’s Turret from BL2. Now that would be an awesome turret.

Its like they mixed an engineer, an alchemist and a demolitions expert into the same class and figured they could get by with just calling it an engineer despite 2/3 of his abilities not being engineer related at all.
