why rifle over p/s? Wouldnt the extra blast finisher make p/s more valuable or is that small damage boost from rifle 3&5 better?

it is when you consider the time it takes to drop and start up spamming bombs that are hitting for 7-8k
If your bombs are hitting 7-8k your Blunderbuss should be something like 10k and Jump should total about 15k. I’d say it’s overall more worth it than the extra 3 stacks of might, although it depends largely on the content. Generally though the extra damage from rifle burst + the extra vuln offsets the constant +5% from P/S combo, especially since your team should ideally be able to cap might without those marginal extra 3 stacks.

Also, Shield #4 is a knockback which can scatter mobs or push bosses out of AoEs/away from a wall so it may be disadvantageous to use it during a fight.
Just equip a shield before a fight to stack Might, then switch to Rifle. By the time you could use Shield #4 again the fight should be already or almost over.
I generally go 66002 with rifle for normal dungeons and 66020 with p/s for fractals. In dungeons where it’s mostly just a dps race from boss to boss so the extra utility from pistol and shield isn’t as good as raw dps from rifle. But in fractals where most of the fights are against trashmobs the extra blind and block combined with permanent vigor increases your survivability quite significantly.
