I’m new to the game and I want Engi to be my main. I heard Engi has the best ranged DPS with grenade so that’s what I’m using and he’s level 9 so far.

Should I be going with a build like that, and if so, any guides that aren’t outdated that I can use for my journey to be easy for leveling and high damage for PvE especially, then PVP in the future

you can start by maximizing the 2 top trait lines (power has higher priority due to the grandmaster grenade trait). but watch out that you don’t get carpal tunnel syndrome from the constant clicking (underwater combat is much easier, hehe). use quicktargetting too, less clicks.

what
hes level 9

heres real advice:
OP, get 10 tools for speedy kits. use that and rocket boots for mobility. youll never get bored compared to other classes. once you unlock grandmaster traits at lvl 60, use grenadier in explosives. literally everything else is up to you and you should have some fun experimenting with what puts out damage or is useful.

yup, bombs are awesome – if you see a champ spam them and move in a circle and they die
