A P/S – 6/6/0/0/2 Bomb Kit, Grenade Kit, [Something] build is very effective in dungeons and fractals.

Grenadier and Modified Ammo are the must takes. Otherwise, take the ones that suit you best.

Is berserkers still the main gear of choice for dungeons or has celestial become a bit more appealing now? I’m thinking of crafting the ascended celestial so I can just use one set of gear most of the time.

I have opted out of celestial in PVE since this update due to the severe drop in dps loss from ferocity. Right now what I’m seeing from the set is all bulk and no hulk. Berzerker will always be the best choice for top DPS, even condition damage can be acceptable when you factor in Might stacking and condition’s poor scaling. My suggestion here is if you want something more conventional and welcomed by nearly any party, then go with Berzerker. If you want something that now does OK in PVE at just about everything, then Celestial is definitely still an option; however compared to what it used to be capable of I am no longer satisfied.

I use P/S in all my zerker PvE builds! Poison Dart Volley can hit very hard and you gain conditions to help your Modified Ammo trait! You also get defensive blocks and a blast finisher! There’s really no reason not to run P/S! Wahoo!

I currently use two builds with P/S!

This is my standard PvE build! I swap out Elixir R and Elixir Gun for Elixir S and Bomb Kit if the situation calls for it!

Banned? Never heard of banning a weapon before, although i wouldn’t mind being able to ban those bearbows but that’s a different issue.
P/S or rifle is good. Just ask yourself if you want more control or another blast finisher/blind/block.

I always like having shield for the blast finisher and reflect. It is fairly rare that I would ever not be using a kit for dps. The weapon I happen to be holding is mostly just for utility.
