Day 184: Deployable Turrets Still Broken
Woohoo, deployable turret borked thread is back.
Is there any chance that the devs think they fixed this trait a while back? Because this is getting silly
aswell is Scope trait…
Shhh they just fixed our FT – if you complain too much it will anger the Gods, I mean Devs.
I have to say I love seeing the thread with every content patch. Then again, I’d REALLY love to NOT see it after one of these patches.

I can tell you its actually fixed in this build, so I suspect that the patch notes are just missing this information. There are a number of bug fixes whose notes never got through the patch note process. We will try and get this list and update the notes, but for now this trait works in PvE so patch and enjoy!

Oh, it was fixed? Well thats good, but… stealth fixes make me sad. A fix is a fix, but I want to actually know about it.

Well, hot kitten . Now, the only thing turrets need is…well, to scale with Power and not die after a hard look.
This is great news to hear And a confirmation that it does in fact function properly while I’m at work is also good!
Now for the next concerted effort; FIX TURRET TARGETTING!
I wouldn’t even say they need a survivability increase, they just need a “stop firing at the empty dirt pile in the opposite direction” fix.
I had a Flame Turret roast the dirt when I threw it at a Young Karka. Was embarrassing. Being able to throw them at enemies doesn’t do a whole lot if they don’t attack the enemy, after all – nor does being able to repair them do much if they get obliterated moments later. Maybe a cooldown change?
However, it is really nice to finally be able to throw them.

So glad to read this. I’ve wanted to toss thumper turrets at those vile invaders in WvW for so long!

I think that, considering the secondary effects they have upon activation, the cooldowns are about right. Well, maybe rocket turret’s is a little too long. Don’t forget to use those toolbelt skills after they blow up, also.

Don’t worry guys, we totally got this trait working, Pay no attention to the other 40 Engineer bugs behind the curtain.

Thank god, now I can finally place my turrets at a distance. All 0 of them that I use.
