Hello. I’m a longtime Guardian and Ranger player, but I recently decided to use the free 20 level scroll to try out an engineer. Things are going ok except I’m noticing the engineer seems to lack options for dealing with CC like stun, fear, knockdown, etc. What’s the best way to deal with control effects as an engie?

Protection Injection and Stun Breaks: Thumper Turret, Elixir S, Elixir U, Utility Goggles, Slick Shoes.

Stability doesn’t come as easy on an Engineer.

Toolbelt skill on elixir gun is also a stunbreaker.

Other ways are preventing the landing of the CC in the first place, via dodges, blinds, blocks, etc. Another option is the flamethrower blind is instant so you can swap to the FT and AOE blind to make next attack miss while stunned. There’s a lot of options, depends on what kits/weapons/utilities you are using.
