It’s been bugged since release, as anybody reading this likely knows – I remember putting in a ticket about it maybe two or three days after the game came out, knowing that it would likely be a while before it got fixed, what with exploitables, blockers, basically any new-game bug that would affect more people. I thought it was a little strange to constantly be seeing rebalances of things in the patch notes, when it’s difficult to tell how balanced the classes are with all the bugs, but didn’t really worry about it, figuring somebody’d get around to fixing the trait.
Then I noticed that inaccurate tooltips have started being fixed, while Deployable Turrets still only works on 2/6 turrets, while kittening one toolbelt skill and completely failing to affect any other turret. I have to admit, I’m kind of concerned, at this point; at least one trait only works 25% of the way, and it’s time to fix inaccurate tooltips?
At this point, Deployable Turrets not working has become part of why I haven’t played in about a month, aside to get the patches. It’s the one reason I have that, if fixed, might actually get me back to playing without needing to fix the others – getting it working would open up new strategies for me to perfect with my favorite aspect of the Engineer.
So, I’ll restate my question (not that I think you’ll have forgotten it, just feels like the right way to end this post): Is there an ETA on getting Deployable Turrets to function properly outside Heart of the Mists, and/or with the Healing Turret’s toolbelt not getting replaced with a Non-Deployable Healing Turret?

What exactly do people mean about Deployable Turrets being broken? I’ve had it work perfectly on every turret except the healing turret, and I’ve simply never actually tried it on that one.
This is the trait that lets you place them at a distance, right?
I’ve even placed them on top of walls where they couldn’t be reached except by ranged attacks.

it is a trait that makes turrets ground targeted. Worked all beta then broke on release for the most part. I think it works on 1/2 the turrets or less now.

I’ve seen other threads with @ANet and so forth in them, so I hadn’t thought that it’d be a problem. My apologies if it is. Somebody’ll trim this, I imagine. I don’t really expect an answer, but I figured I might as well ask.
Anyway:
Deployable Turrets is supposed to let you ground-target all turrets.
Currently, it ground-targets Rocket and Healing turrets, turns the Healing Turret toolbelt into a normal Healing Turret instead of the usual effect, and doesn’t affect anything else. By my estimation, it’s only about 25% functional – of the two turrets it does make ground-targetable, it kittens one of their toolbelt abilities.
