So I just reached lvl 80 on my Engineer and I’m playing around with traits.

I was wondering if the traits:

Energized Armor – Gain power based on your toughness. Toughness converted to Power: 7%

and

Juggernaut – You gain toughness while wielding a flamethrower. In addition, gain might at regular intervals while using this weapon kit.

Work together?

When using a flamethrower my toughness doesn’t go up on the hero screen and my power only changes when I get the stacks of might which makes me assume not only do they not work together but aren’t even working the way they say they are meant to.

Has anyone done any testing to see what the deal is? :/

Both traits are so forgotten and ignorable I think I’ve never tested it.

Yes they do I tried them not long ago.

Are you in combat when testing this? Often times when there’s a stat increase from a trait (not the flat % increase ones) it won’t be applied out of combat.

I believe this answers your question, I was curious myself since my main is an engi.

Thanks for that, so looks like Anet just needs to fix up the UI to make it clear when and if things are working as stated.

Out of genuine curiosity, why post at all?

Anyway, yeah, at some point in a past update, a glitch arouse in which it functions, only the numbers simply do not change in the hero panel.
