Do turrets scale with a particular stat?
Pets do not scale I’m afraid. The only “scaling” pets is in Ranger when they put points into Beastmastery.
Turrets are not pets, they are minions, there is a significant difference.
Turrets do not scale with stats.
Although Aristio’s assessment is incorrect. some classes have pet/minions that scale with certain stats. Mesmers minions do scale with stats such as precisions, power, and condition damage.
Poor craftsman blame their tools. Poor players blame their Engineer.
Mesmer minions aren’t minions I don’t think.
They are their own unique thing I believe.
Since they are not an optional utility slot item, they are a class mechanic shared by all mesmers. Plus, they work really differently to minions, their appearance and length of life can vary. If your target dies, they die, and they contribute to shattering.
I think there are 3 categories of ‘pets’ really.
Clones- Mesmer, increase stats normally.
Pets- Ranger, can increase stats with traits.
Minions- Guardian, Elementalist, Necromancer, Engineer, Thief
Vibor Bauman- Level 80 Engineer- Gandara
Turret damage only scales with condition damage, power does not effect the normal damage at all.
