Drunk Engi build [Updated]
Just a pic proof.
Another pic proof.
Interesting build. May I ask why rifle and not a hammer? I’m just curious what’s the advantage.

If i wanted hammer, i would have gone meta scrapper and not bothered on the making of this build on the first place, sure, you can make some changes and go hammer if you want, but the point of this build is giving rifle some love :P
It’s not about me wanting or not wanting to use hammer. I want rifle to be viable. It just occured to me when I saw that you use scrapper traitline and I thought that there is some reason I don’t see.

Well, experimenting story and, surpsrise, surprise, scrapper trait is more useful for the rifle than firearms!

Interesing. What do you think about using this build in small scale WvW, with Durability runes and commander gear?

As long as you can provide a decent ammount of concentration, yes, i think you can give it a try in wvw with more tanky runes, go ahead and tell me what happened if you can :P, just keep in mind, you need that concentration, otherwise boons like quickness don’t last enough to be worthy.

Okay, so, during off-season, i gave it a try, to play tools/alchemy/firearms, traiting for that cd reduction for the rifle and the cricital vulnreability, but after many tries, it wasnt working, the build pferomed even better when i gave a try to scrapper, and thats when i realize that buffing elixir x and elixir b toolbelt with the scrapper trait (+ that gyro that helps with the revives/stomps) was more worth it than the cd reduction in the rifle, and the thing is, theres nothing that directly helps the rifle in the grandmaster traits of firearms, getting juggernaut would lose the purpose of this build, since it’s a more ft oriented build, the mid gm was inconcistent and the last trait, welp, thats a pistol trait, even when i was using scrapper for non-scrappy stuff, it helped a lot with the elixirs, belive me, that stability/might buff that youg et when you enter elixir x is very helpful, not to mention, elixir b can give you in the best of the cases 9 stacks of might just using it thanks to that stability trait again.
Update
For those who are still trying this build, heres a little modification.
Swapped kinetic battery for Adrenal Impact
Swapped Rune of the pack for Rune of Strength
Kinetic Battery was wasted most of the time, so i swapped for the survival trait value, also, i did notice that those precision points spended, were pretty much wasted, the change wasnt so impactful, so i swapped back to the offensive rune of my first build.
Everything else is still the same.
Another Update
After some exausting testing, i conclude that the most effecitve way to pla this build, is with the old classic build i did, but with the adrenal impact, after trying to make it workout, the lost of precision from the Diviner’s amulet was hurting a lot, so i’m back to the seekers amulet, apparentlly, a lot of concentration and perma quickness didn’t compensate the damage, better have that precision over the concentration, but still, not forgeting the concentration.
I gotta admit it, this build feels more cluncky comapred to the diviner’s version, but at least, it hurts more.

Hey, currently I’m trying out the latest version of your build and find it fun and it sure does work. Just wanted to let you know and of course thank you for it.
cheers

Thank you!, i also went back t the diviner’s amulet version of the build, i can conclude that either playing the seeker’s version or the diviner’s verison will do the job, just play with the amulet that fits more with you (Rune of strenght for both builds tough) :P
