Hello! Snooppoop (Engi)/Hummersnopp (Thief) here!

Over the past month I’ve been gathering material for a “short” roaming video and yesterday night I felt it was ready for editing. So now I’ve uploaded it to youtube and felt like sharing it with you guys

Note that I’m in no sense anything but an average player and also kinda new to the builds so don’t expect an epic pro video or anything

Both builds are condi-based and as you will notice I play both my engineer and thief in the video.

Credits in the end of the movie

The only thing I liked from the movie was music choice.

And yeh, the lack of food burns my eyes (but not for long duration cause of that :P)

I don’t know why they’re complaining about the food. I give props to roamers that don’t use food. That’s what you call playing with the training wheels off.

A note about the bomb kit:

It kind of looks like you’re just putting them down when you feel like it rather than using them in some sort of deliberate manner. While it can still be effective this way since it does fairly high AoE damage around you, it might make it an ineffective utility choice against people who don’t decide to get hit by them.

In particular, you should always use glue bomb for a specific purpose. It can be useful to put distance between you and someone else, but it’s also useful for setting up a combo. That is, you can use the immobilize to prevent them from dodging whatever your next attack is. As such, you can glue bomb, and then do something like pry bar when they’re immobilized. If they want to avoid it, they either have to use some other kind of defensive mechanism, or just build for immobilization immunity (the latter of which is not uncommon).

Glue bomb can also be useful for helping big ol’ bomb hit. If you drop BoB and then glue bomb, the immobilization from the glue bomb will hold them just long enough for the BoB to explode and hit them. This prevents people from staying inside the bomb radius and just dodging at the proper time since the glue immobilizes them. If they choose to dodge the glue bomb, then they also have to blow a second dodge to avoid the BoB. Otherwise, they need to back out of the radius, affording you some breathing room (obviously that only really applies to melee opponents).

Bombs are also handy to combo with magnet. In particular, if you’re fighting a ranged opponent or just want to yank someone off a node or something, you can drop BoB on your feet, magnet them, and they’ll be pulled right to the bomb. If they don’t stun break or use some other defensive ability, the bomb will go off just as they recover, allowing you to follow up with more attacks.

Of course, you could always try something else out, like grenades or rocket boots.
