Engi traits completely broken
it does reduce skill on tool belt…..
I don’t think it shows the reduction on the tooltips, but as soon as you use it you will see that the countdown timer is shorter. I only have 10 points in it and it works for me.
It works, just not properly.
Example is bandage self – with 30 in tools, it should be a 14 second cooldown, instead it’s a 15-16 second cooldown.
How come this has not been fixed?
The Devs have a priority order:
1) Nerf grenades
2) Nerf every viable Engineer build
3) Nerf grenades again
4) World peace
5) Solve world hunger
6) Cure cancer
7) Fix Engineer bugs

8) hide a grenade nerf inside an awkward turret buff.

I think it is probably working properly. This is my theory:
When says +30% recharge rate it means you can use them 30% more frequently, so the interval between each use (ie. the cooldown) will be 1/1.3 = 76.9% of the original. If something has 20s of cd untraited, it becomes 20/0.769=15.4 seconds.
I don’t think I’ve tested enough to prove it however…
